In 1945, allied troops liberated the Nazi
death camps. Out of the horror of WWII, the UN was born with the hope of averting future wars.
On January 27th the UN will mark this anniversary with “75 years after Auschwitz - Holocaust Education and Remembrance for Global Justice”, a series of events remembering the holocaust. It will also reflect on the rise of antisemitism, hate, and violent extremism in today’s world.
